UMass Neuro position

Dear Dr. Couve,

I would like to alert you to a tenure-track Assistant Professor opening in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at University of Massachusetts-Amherst. This position is part of a recent $150M investment in the life science at UMass that includes 20 core equipment facilities and the Institute of Applied Life Sciences (IALS, http://www.umass.edu/ials/), which is housed in a new state-of-the-art research building. Currently we are searching for a researcher who studies neurological disease using cell-based systems, including primary neuronal cultures, patient-derived cells, stem cells (including iPSC), or organoids. Please see the attached ad. I would appreciate your help in identifying suitable candidates for this position along with an additional position that is interested in neurodegeneration using animal models. Please feel free to pass this message and ad along to any of your colleagues that you feel might be interested in these positions.

Thank you,

Dan
